Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities
Knowledge and Skills
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of an accredited automotive technology program or technical trade school curriculum focused on advanced automotive repair.
Demonstrated ability to work with common automotive tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures in a workshop or service center.
Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL within the first year of hire.
Satisfaction of the minimum qualifications, including years of experience and service, does not entitle employees to automatic progression within the job series. Promotion to the next classification level is at the discretion of the department and the Office of Personnel Management, taking into consideration the employee’s demonstrated skills, competencies, performance, workload responsibilities, and organizational needs.
