About this role
Role:
The primary responsibilities of the position can be summarized as follows:
- Investment Analysis & Execution:
- Conduct detailed underwriting of potential acquisitions, including financial modelling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing using Excel or other tools.
- Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for internal review and investor committees.
- Support the due diligence process, including coordination with legal, tax, and operational teams to evaluate risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to debt sourcing process in coordination with lenders.
- Asset Management
- Oversee the implementation of refurbishment measures as established in the business plan, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budgets.
- Contribute to leasing activities with new and existing tenants.
- Work with property and facility managers to ensure effective management, operational efficiency, and tenant satisfaction.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including internal and external reporting to stakeholders and investors, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with board members to keep them informed and aligned with the project’s objectives and progress.
- Fund Management Support:
- Assist in fund-level performance reporting and valuation updates.
- Support the preparation of materials for investor relations, including quarterly reports and annual reviews.
- Manage ad-hoc projects, including preparing investor presentations and supporting fundraising initiatives.
Profile:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field
- Initial work experiences in real estate investment, asset management, private equity, or investment banking.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities, with attention to detail.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals and valuation methodologies (DCF, income capitalization, comparable analysis).
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Self-starter with strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently, thereby managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
