CNC Control/Process Operator
About this role
Arcosa Shoring Products is seeking a 1st shift Control/Process Operator (CNC) in our Union City, MI plant to meet increased production demands. As a Control/Process Operator, you will set up and operate a computer numerical controlled machinery that automatically heats, mills, cuts, forms, drills, broaches or reams metal or processed material parts. Troubleshoots and corrects faulty programming. Makes general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequences. A Control/Process Operator will be able to proficiently read blueprints and tape measure. A Control/Process Operator will observe all standard safety practices and maintain and complete all required records. May also be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Will perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am-3:30pm

Job Duties:
- Operate CNC mill to cut or form parts
- Ability to accurately read blueprints
- Ability to accurately read tape measure
- Proficiently operate CNC, Plasma cutting, and laser cutting machines
- Load and unload material
- Transfer material to storage
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Ability to proficiently read blueprints
- Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
