Position Overview

The Order Entry Admin (also known as the Supply Chain Support Admin) is responsible for order entry and for coordinating and purchasing outsourced services.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs contract review on incoming customer orders
  • Inputs order details accurately into the ERP system.
  • Load drawings into the document control system, create job travelers, enter the data on the Master schedule and create visual boards for manufacturing reviews.
  • Sends RFQs to vendors, obtaining pricing, selecting the correct vendor based on price/lead and customer approval.
  • Creates purchase orders for outsource operations.
  • Communicates with vendors to track orders and communicate internally regarding expected arrival.
  • Reconciles completed jobs and electronically file Product History Records.
  • Assists with inventory cycle counting.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency with understanding of MS Office; ERP systems and Document Control systems.
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to ensure customer receives orders are processed accurately and timely
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and seek guidance when needed.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
