Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer plays a key role in driving operational excellence through off-line programming, quoting, process improvement, safety leadership, and CNC manufacturing support. This position partners across engineering, production, and sales to deliver efficient, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop CNC programs and machining processes using CAM software (off-line programming)
  • Create and modify 3D models, tooling, and fixture designs (Mastercam or similar)
  • Validate CNC programs using machine simulation tools
  • Lead and manage quoting activities, including RFQs, cost analysis, and customer submissions
  • Analyze cost structures and market trends to ensure competitive pricing strategies
  • Track and report quote performance and win/loss trends
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
  • Conduct workflow analysis, time studies, and cost optimization projects
  • Promote and support shop floor safety initiatives and compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, CNC Programming 
  • Experience with quoting, cost analysis, or production planning
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Clean, well-lit manufacturing facility
  • Temperature-controlled shop environment
  • Exposure to machining equipment; PPE required

 

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
