Position Overview:

The  Maintenance Technician you will perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility maintenance as well as some general janitorial duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and inspection of CNC machinery, including removing debris, checking fluid levels, and inspecting tools.
  • Conduct regular lubrication of moving parts and replacement of air and oil filters.
  • Inspect belts, chains, and other components for wear, ensuring proper alignment and tension.
  • Test safety features and emergency stop functions to maintain compliance.
  • Monitor and maintain coolant and hydraulic systems, including cleaning tanks and replacing fluids.
  • Document maintenance activities and report potential issues to management.
  • Perform routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to identify issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical problems.
  • Maintain and repair facility lighting, including replacing bulbs and ballasts.
  • Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, locks, drywall, or flooring.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of facility areas, including storage rooms and common spaces.
  • Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes during all maintenance activities.
  • Leads monthly safety meetings and safety training 

 

What We're Looking for:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Prior equipment and facility maintenance experience within an industrial/manufacturing setting.
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Preventative Maintenance – Knowledge of scheduling and performing routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting – Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
  • Understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety protocols. 
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to anticipate, think ahead and plan.
  • Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Optional overtime on Saturdays (as needed)
