Balancing Shift Operations Specialist
About this role
Report any stop work or concerns related to EHS & Quality and report all safety incidents as per EHS guidelines & prepare robust action plan for CAPA for avoidance in future.
- Follow & implement Organization EHS Policy & Guidelines and foster active participation in all EHS activities & initiatives.
- Initiate /support different environmental projects related to 3R’s (reduce/reuse/recycle).
- Report any stop work or concerns related to EHS & Quality and report all safety incidents as per EHS guidelines & prepare robust action plan for CAPA for avoidance in future.
- Assign activities in line with work specific regulatory compliance and organizational EHS policy.
- Good Knowledge related to assessment of health & environmental risks & hazards associated with the task/activity & respective mitigation actions.
- Ensure that all Contract workers are performing the assigned activity safely while working with you or nearby area.
- Drive nuclear safety culture awareness in shop floor.
- Drive ITNS-I/A management and CFSI awareness among technicians & CW.
- Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations, contractors, and contingent workers.
- Optimizing utilization of resources to achieve the production target
- Shop controls – shift plans, time booking, maintaining attendance, daily logbook, reporting of production data in the system, manpower planning
- Manage, Organize, monitor production operations of balancing shop as per plan, implement corrective action as necessary
- Track activities w.r.t to process sheet & process control plan
- Track / checks at every stage of repair as per QAP
- On time delivery of the jobs of balancing shop
- Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Interact with related Departments, Clarify Deviations, give technical guidance to subordinates to ensure quality production meeting Statutory regulations at least time and cost
- Maintain housekeeping (5S), Guide, monitor and supervise compliance with all safety standard and environment policy and norms (in line with ISO- 14001 and OHSAS- 18001) to ensure safe and healthy working environment.
- Communicate, Guide, motivate, interact with technicians, resolved disputes, initiate disciplinary action if necessary, to ensure smooth production and congenial work culture

- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Ensures experience and lessons learned are properly fed back to FMEA analysis.
