Operations Manager — Quick Commerce

Bangalore Division · On-site

About this role

Operations Manager — Quick Commerce AVAILABILITY

Own how we stay in stock — replenishment within ROL cycles at >90% fill rate across the network.

Experience: 4–8 years · quick-commerce / e-commerce supply-chain preferred

The role

You own availability — the reach lever. On quick commerce, being out of stock is being invisible, so your mandate is simple and hard: keep the product on the shelf. You build and run the replenishment engine so that stock is refilled within ROL (re-order level) cycles at a >90% fill rate across the network and every DC cluster — without stranded inventory or returns eating the margin.

What you'll own

  • Replenishment planning — build and run the DOI (days-of-inventory) and ROL logic at network and DC / cluster level.

  • Inventory management — stock health across dark stores and DCs; the right cover in the right place.

  • Fill-rate & in-stock management — hold >90% fill rate within ROL cycles; drive down stockouts and lost sales.

  • Demand planning / forecasting — with the Category team, translate BAU and festive demand into buy and replenishment plans.

  • 3PL / dark-store / warehouse coordination — own the SLAs and the operating rhythm with platform and logistics partners.

  • RTO & returns — track and reduce returns / RTO; protect margin and inventory.

What success looks like (first 6–12 months)

  • >90% fill rate held consistently, with replenishment inside ROL cycles.

  • In-stock % up and stockout rate down across the network and clusters.

  • Healthy DOI / inventory turns — availability without stranded stock.

  • Measurable RTO / returns reduction.

What you bring

  • 4–8 years in supply chain / operations — quick-commerce, e-commerce, or FMCG distribution experience preferred.

  • Hands-on inventory and replenishment planning (DOI / ROL, safety stock, multi-location).

  • 3PL / dark-store / warehouse coordination and SLA management.

  • Data-driven and SLA-obsessed — strong Excel / analytics; builds and runs planning models.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with quick-commerce platform operations (Blinkit / Zepto / Instamart).

  • Exposure to festive / seasonal inventory build-ups and short-shelf-life or authenticity-sensitive goods.
