We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

We're looking for a hands-on Senior HRIS Analyst to support the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of our Workday platform and broader People tech stack. This role partners closely with all internal stakeholders to keep our People systems reliable, compliant, and easy to use - and serves as a go-to expert for day-to-day Workday configuration, troubleshooting, and reporting.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Be a key contributor to systems roadmapping, and champion automation and AI-driven solutions across our People tech stack to drive continued optimization

  • Partner closely with People Operations on data integrity and business processes builds

  • Support and maintain our People tech stack, with a primary focus on core Workday modules: HCM, Performance, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, and Time Tracking

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and configure Workday solutions that meet business needs

  • Configure and maintain Workday business processes, workflows, security, and reporting

  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes and enhancements

  • Support HR system upgrades, patches, and new feature releases, including impact assessment and regression testing

  • Build and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for system changes, partnering with stakeholders on UAT

  • Support HR systems projects - module rollouts, integrations, and business process updates - as a key contributor

  • Create user guides and training materials, and help train business partners on system changes

  • Help uphold system governance, data integrity, and compliance with HR regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOX), including supporting audits and data privacy initiatives

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience across the HR tech stack, including configuring Workday, day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, system enhancements, and integrations

  • Solid stakeholder management and communication skills and ability to influence across all levels

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of HR compliance and regulations

  • Experience with Ashby, Google Apps, Slack, Internal Applications, JIRA, OKTA

  • Experience with Workday talent management and advanced compensation

  • Experience with Workday studio integrations

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
