Salary: $55,000/annual
Section 2: Position Purpose
The Training Coordinator is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of training solutions to ensure compliance with funder/regulatory agencies, as well as the ongoing growth and development of employees within their state. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing and implementing training delivery and facilitation, adhering to training processes and procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of employee training, and assisting with the execution of corporate education initiatives. The Training Coord. provides oversight and support for the designated training staff within their state to ensure that program administration and direct care staff have the knowledge and skills needed to provide quality service to the individuals we support. Section 3: Major Responsibilities
· Implement and ensure adherence to standardized training curriculum, including New Hire Orientation process, across state and service line
· Maintain, update, and develop curricula, content, and training materials as necessary
· Implement standardized procedures for tracking all training within Relias and ensuring accurate documentation is maintained in employee files
· Review training compliance data, including corrective action plans, to ensure regulatory training compliance of all programs in the region
· Facilitate training sessions as needed to support Service Line / State training goals
· Provide feedback to program management regarding new employees’ performance in New Hire Orientation
· Communicate regularly with program management regarding staff training needs and training compliance
· Collaborate with Corporate Training and Education team to ensure high quality of training content, development of supplemental program specific content, and effective use of Relias for training tracking and reporting needs
· Required to travel to each location for which they are responsible on a consistent basis.
· Performs other essential duties and functions as assigned by the QA/IM Compliance Manager on a monthly basis.
· Assist programs with licensing and certifications of staff in order to meet funder regulations.
· Ensures that federal and state compliance training requirements are met for state surveys.
· Identify inconsistencies in each program related to training requirements and needs, streamlining processes related to onboarding of new hires, standardization of training where appropriate.
· Disseminates monthly KPI and training reports to QA/IM Compliance Manager and Executive State Director
· Assist programs with operational tasks and oversight as assigned.
Section 6: Job Qualifications and Competencies
Job Qualifications
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma/ GED Equivalency required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering training, developing training content, and knowledge of adult learning principles
· 1-3 years of experience in an IDD/BHH/Human Services environment preferred
· Comfortable facilitating training for large groups (up to 20 people)
· State Background Check clearance required with initial and quarterly checks completed
· Required to have and maintain a Training Certification in MANDT, First Aid, and CPR training
· Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License
· Ability to quickly learn new technology systems and tools
· Intermediate computer skills, including use of MS Office and virtual training delivery platforms
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence
· Ability to organize/prioritize work and manage multiple tasks/projects effectively
· Maintain an open and approachable demeanor and provide excellent service to internal clients, employees, stakeholders, and external partners
