❖ MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

⮚ Bachelor’s Degree in Humans Services or Business Administration

 PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

⮚ Master’s Degree in Human Service or Business Administration

❖ PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

⮚ Fifteen (15) years of leadership experience, ideally including CFO or Director of Operations experience with nonprofit human service organizations.

⮚ Current knowledge of Human Services financing requirements with strong revenue cycle management and knowledge of third party payer practices

⮚ Experience in multi-state operations business model

Ø Familiarity with State regulations governing services to individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

⮚ Successful track record of operationalizing growth through back office automation, process discipline, and standardization

⮚ Experience in acquisition targeting, due diligence, negotiations, and integration

⮚ Experience working in high growth companies

⮚ Deep understanding of financial controls, IT systems, and financial reporting

⮚ Ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and scale

⮚ Demonstrated focus on value creation, overall direction, and strategy

⮚ Experience in advising the CEO and Board of Directors of growth opportunities and accompanying risk

⮚ Current knowledge of the requirements of a Not-for-Profit 501c(3)

⮚ Demonstrated track record of hiring high achieving financial professionals

❖ POSITION STATEMENT

⮚ Chief Operating Officer will:

▪ Assume a strategic role in the overall management of SRVS, Inc.

▪ Assume primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling the finance and operations related activities of the company

▪ Assume responsibility for Executive oversight and leadership for the operation of the Corporation

▪ Report on all information pertaining to all key indicators of the organization to pertaining to Financial and Operational Management

▪ Function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization

▪ Promote the fiscal well being of this organization and report any concerns to the President

▪ Administer the principles of short and long range planning

▪ Utilize the support staff to the best interests of the organization

▪ Act as a liaison, Team Leader and link communication between the President, Management, and the support staff

▪ Function with the highest esteem in dealing with all employees, clients and consumers of this organization

❖ RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS

Ø Operational Leadership & Service Delivery

· Oversee daily operations across all programs and support functions.

· Ensure services are delivered consistently, effectively, and in alignment with organizational standards.

· Develop operational strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability.

· Monitor program capacity, utilization, and service outcome

Ø Strategic Execution

· Translate the CEO's and Board's strategic vision into actionable operational plans.

· Lead implementation of strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.

· Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and accountability measures.

· Drive continuous improvement across departments.

Ø Financial and Resource Management

· Partner with Finance to manage budgets and financial performance.

· Monitor operational costs and identify efficiencies.

· Ensure resources are allocated appropriately across programs and locations.

· Support long-term financial sustainability through effective operational planning.


Ø Workforce Management

· Provide leadership and oversight to operational department leaders.

· Ensure appropriate staffing levels and workforce planning.

· Promote employee engagement, productivity, and accountability.

· Support leadership development and succession planning.

Ø Quality Assurance and Performance Management

· Develop systems to monitor operational performance and outcomes.

· Establish quality standards and continuous improvement processes.

· Analyze operational data and trends to inform decision-making.

· Lead corrective action initiatives when performance goals are not achieved.

Ø Compliance and Risk Management

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and accreditation requirements.

· Oversee risk management practices and internal controls.

· Coordinate emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.

· Monitor contractual and regulatory obligations.

Ø Process Improvement and Efficiency

· Evaluate workflows and operational processes.

· Eliminate inefficiencies and reduce administrative burden.

· Leverage technology to improve productivity and reporting.

· Standardize policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.

Ø Facilities, Technology, and Infrastructure Oversight

· Ensure facilities are safe, functional, and support service delivery.

· Oversee operational aspects of information technology and cybersecurity.

· Manage organizational assets and infrastructure investments.

· Plan for future operational and facility needs.

Ø Cross-Functional Coordination

· Facilitate collaboration among program, finance, HR, IT, and administrative teams.

· Remove barriers that impede organizational effectiveness.

· Ensure departments work toward common organizational goals.

· Serve as a key integrator between strategic planning and operational execution.

Ø Data, Analytics, and Decision Support

· Develop operational dashboards and performance reporting.

· Use data to guide business decisions and resource allocation.

· Monitor trends in service demand, workforce performance, and organizational outcomes.

· Present operational insights to the CEO and Board
