JOB TITLE: Automation & Data Executive

RESPONSIBLE TO: Automation & Data Analyst Senior

MAIN LOCATION: Jordan, Amman

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test and document complex calculated fields and DAX measures
  • Drive a better user experience through the continuous improvement/development of existing dashboard designs
  • Create documentation and training materials to support & train end users
  • Define, recommend, and drive the execution of initiatives to improve the quality of data
  • Maintain focus on key strategic priorities through continued analysis
  • Simplify the complex data landscape into meaningful narratives and propose actionable recommendations to address challenges
  • Collaborate with the business stakeholders to ensure that reports and dashboards meet the user requirements and maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the underlying data
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to data management and analytics

Essential Skills:

  • BSc in Industrial engineering, Logistics, or any related field
  • Up to two years of relevant experience in data analysis, BI, or automation, including internship or project work
  • Advanced Power BI experience (Proven experience using DAX is a must)
  • Practical experience with one or more additional Power App tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power Virtual Agents
  • Understanding of data modeling basics; fact and dimension tables, granularity and star schema
  • Experience working with other data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL or Python is a plus
  • A structured approach to investigating issues and identifying root causes across reports and data sources
  • Highly numerate and strong attention to detail
  • A customer and results-focused mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in Agile environments

Additional Requirements:

  • In addition to the responsibilities listed above the post holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Senior Management Team from time-to-time. Subject to adequate experience and/or training.
  • To participate in the annual performance appraisal process and objective scheme.
  • To work in accordance with all APG policies including Health and Safety, Employment, Staff, Quality and Environmental.
  • To adhere to company wide information security policies, as outlined and agreed within the first month of employment.
