Reinsurance Business Analyst

What the day will look like
- Supporting and configuring reinsurance software applications, documenting new requirements, and defining solutions.
- Reviewing, analysing, and resolving SICS-related issues, including assisting users with complex contract analysis and data capture.
- Testing system upgrades, logging defects, and managing them through to resolution.
- Recommending process improvements and system enhancements while supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Working with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, actuarial, and finance, and providing SICS process training and guidance to users and new team members
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- At least four years of experience in reinsurance operations
- English language proficiency - minimum C1 on CEFR scale.
- Excellent understanding of reinsurance concepts, processes, terminology, treaties, contracts, claims processes, and key underwriting, claims, and accounting activities.
- Experience with policy administration system implementations, GL integrations, business change, and the configuration of SICS or similar reinsurance software. SICS or Assure knowledge is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills, with excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, insurance, risk management, or a related field. Professional insurance or reinsurance certification is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SICS software would be an advantage.
- French language proficiency would be an advantage.
