Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for in-process and final inspections, identify and communicate quality concerns, identify nonconformances, support corrective actions, and provide guidance to production personnel throughput the manufacturing process.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform visual, dimensional, functional, and aesthetic inspections of finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards

Conduct in-process inspections by reviewing product specifications, performing measurements, and communicating required adjustments to production personnel and supervisors

Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements to ensure product conformity

Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records, reports, logs, and database entries

Generate and process nonconformance reports and assist with product disposition activities

Communicate quality concerns, inspection findings, and nonconforming conditions to supervisors and production teams in a timely manner

Support investigations into quality issues and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities

Train and educate production personnel on quality requirements, inspection results, and quality improvement opportunities

Participate in internal quality audits to verify compliance with documented procedures, specifications, and quality system requirements

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, quality, or related environment

Previous quality inspection experience preferred

Previous experience using measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, or gauges

Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and production documentation

Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately document inspection results, maintain records, and enter data into electronic systems

Bilingual Spanish or Hmong a plus
