Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Our New Start Technician position is responsible for performing new start installation services and providing clear expectations for the customer on future services including answering any questions they may have. This position works on a flexible schedule to accommodate same day services as needed and pick up work in surrounding areas as needed. Additional services may be required depending on work availability including but not limited to Universal Technician responsibilities.
Duties include:
- Provide timely and effective inspections and solutions to pest problems for new clientele.
- Install and establish SMART equipment at initial appointment.
- Computing basic math problems
- Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external
- Maintain accurate records of services complete through use of a SMART device
- Provide customers with general information about our various services
- Operate and maintain pest control equipment and company vehicles
- Respond to customer inquires and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct follow-up visits to ensure pest problems are resolved.
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal candidates will:
- Previous pest control experience a plus
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Not have a fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc.
- Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking
- Be able to carry a 40lb pack on their back
- Be willing and able to crawl through crawl spaces and attics
- Have excellent listening and communication skills
- Be competent with the use of new technology
- Be organized and able to manage their own daily route
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license with minimal moving violation points
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
Preferred skills and qualifications:
Experience Working Outdoors, Customer Service Experience, Excellent Listening and Communication Skills, Relationship Building and People Skills, Problem Solving skills
