About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school in Chicago Heights, IL to welcome a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time role supports students in an early childhood and elementary program serving PreK–5th grade. The ideal SLP will have a strong foundation in early language development, AAC, and play-based intervention.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide speech and language therapy services for PreK–5th grade students
  • Support early language development through individualized intervention
  • Incorporate AAC and play-based strategies into therapy as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication needs
  • Participate in evaluations, IEP meetings, and ongoing student support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Caseload Details

  • PreK–5th grade student population
  • Focus on early language development, AAC, and play-based intervention
  • Full-time, onsite position

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License (IDFPR)
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
