Position Details
Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – FMLA Leave
Location: Onsite
Grade Levels: 9th–12th Grade
Assignment Dates: September 8, 2026 – December 18, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:25 AM – 3:25 PM
Hours: 35 hours per week
Compensation: $48–$60 per hour, based on experience
Caseload & Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students
Provide direct speech-language therapy services
Support 4 consultative students
Complete approximately 7 evaluations during the semester
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Maintain timely documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal development
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
Active Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license
Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
