About the Opportunity

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a school setting? We're excited to welcome an SLP to a supportive school team in Anoka County, MN, where you'll work alongside educators, families, and special education professionals to help students strengthen their communication skills and reach their full potential. In this role, you'll provide individualized and small-group therapy, participate in IEP planning, and create engaging, evidence-based interventions that support both academic and social success.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for elementary students with a variety of communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans aligned with each student's IEP goals.
  • Provide engaging individual and small-group speech-language therapy, including services for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Support and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, including programming devices, modeling use, and collaborating with staff and families to promote successful communication.
  • Partner with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families to foster student growth across educational settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings by contributing evaluation findings, progress updates, and recommendations for appropriate speech-language services and accommodations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) SLP license or eligibility
  • Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
  • School-based experience preferred
  • Comfort supporting diverse, multilingual student populations
  • Clinical Fellows welcome
