Position Details
Position: Part-Time Occupational Therapist (3 days per week)
Grade Levels: PreK–5th Grade
School Assignment: 1–2 Elementary Schools
Schedule: 3 Days Per Week, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
Setting: Onsite
School Year Dates: August 25, 2026 – June 3, 2027
Responsibilities
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in PreK–5th grade
Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
Support students' fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care skills, and classroom participation
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet individual needs
Caseload details will be determined based on school needs.
Qualifications
Active Illinois IDFPR Occupational Therapy license required
Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Passion for helping students develop independence and confidence
