About the Opportunity

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a great school district in Arlington Heights, IL to welcome a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to support middle school students while working alongside a collaborative team of Occupational Therapists who are dedicated to helping students succeed academically and functionally.

As an OT in this role, you’ll be an active member of the school team, providing direct support, participating in evaluations, contributing to IEPs and MTSS, and collaborating with educators and other professionals to help students generalize their skills across the school environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades 6–8
  • Conduct initial and re-evaluations to help determine special education eligibility
  • Provide support through MTSS and IEP services
  • Participate in building-level teams and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, case managers, school staff, and families
  • Consult with teams to support the generalization of student skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements
  • Work collaboratively with a team of eight Occupational Therapists supporting students across the district

  • Middle school students in grades 6–8
  • Full-time caseload
  • Collaborative OT team of eight
  • Opportunities to support students through evaluations, MTSS, IEPs, and consultation
  • Strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapy License through IDFPR
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with school-aged students is preferred
