Description
Role Summary Anthesis is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, optimize, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving cloud transformation, operational excellence, automation, security, and cost optimization across the enterprise. This role requires strong hands-on Azure engineering experience together with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and FinOps principles to ensure secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Microsoft best practices. Build secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud environments. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates. Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, and Azure Automation. Manage Azure networking, virtual machines, storage, identity, and platform services. Support Azure landing zones, governance, policies, and subscription management. Configure and manage Azure Virtual Networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, DNS, and Firewalls. Manage Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), RBAC, Conditional Access, and Managed Identities. Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Monitor cloud performance, availability, and operational health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Ensure Azure environments comply with security, governance, and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application issues. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cloud engineering standards and best practices.
