ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.

Under general supervision, this position will:

  • Follow all the Safety, Health and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements ensuring personal safety, safety of others and safety of the surrounding area.
  • Complete Emission Control Devices (ECD) Site Inspections to ensure flare efficiency through flare and tank seal maintenance and initiate any required repairs.
  • Responsible for supporting the daily operations and general maintenance of assigned wells and production facilities. Minimize well downtime by maintaining and repairing production equipment.
  • Assist in keeping invoices and work order logs on a daily basis using the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. Accurately input and complete work orders, and maintain the tracking system and reports for support documentation by utilizing the EAM System.
  • Maintain vapor control equipment on all production tanks.
  • Assemble products and repair oil field machinery and equipment using hand and power tools to bolt, connect tanks and flow lines, unscrew or tighten pipe, casing, tubing, etc.
  • Continuously communicate and work together with Production Operators on various pads to ensure consistent processes and practices are applied.
  • Install lubricators and equipment on wellheads to support plunger installations and well optimization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc. and use/operation of standard office equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of piping specifications and ability to assemble and disassemble pipes.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with others internally and externally.
  • Able to observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources.
  • Able to be a detail-oriented self-starter, and work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining goals and tasks.
  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills to analyze information and choose the best solution.
  • Ability to exert heavy physical strength at frequent intervals.
  • Ability to build relationships, establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally to achieve goals of the organization.


SAFETY SENSITIVE RELATED

  • Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
  • Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.

Field Related:


This position may be subject to:

  • Exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
  • Extreme Cold and Heat: temperatures typically below 32o F or above 100o F for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions as wind, rain, snow, and humidity.
  • Noise: there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
  • Vibration: exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
  • Confined Space: work areas large enough for individual to enter, limited means of entry or exit, and not designed for continue occupancy.
  • Hazards: includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals, combustibles, explosives, etc.


HOURS / SHIFTS

  • Regular business hours.
  • Available for on-call rotation and responsibilities on weekends and holidays for urgent issues or emergencies during off hours, as needed.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift, push, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently be able to bend, stoop, crouch, etc.
  • Frequent amount of traversing through challenging terrain to evaluate project sites, conditions, manually inspect slopes or perform work.


TRAVEL

Approximate amount of time: Minimal (under 25%); Regularly (25% - 75%); Frequent (more than 75%).

  • Minimal travel may be required to other locations.
  • Frequent travel to Company’s field operations and/or offices. Approximately 95% of time in field.
