Position Overview

 

Omnicom is leveraging Intelligent Automation to bring deeper intelligence and velocity to its clients and employees.  We have established a dedicated Center of Excellence, program management platforms and protocols, and partnered with Microsoft as a leader in the Intelligent Automation space.  We are looking to expand our team with individuals who have a solid technical and development foundation, and with a desire to broaden that into the exciting areas of Intelligent Automation.

We have a role for Senior Developer – IA. It is an opportunity to demonstrate your Automation and development Skills and knowledge using Microsoft Platform Automation System. This might be a great fit if you have similar experience and excited to be part of a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance automated solutions using Power Platform, GenAI, and Azure technologies, in line with CoE leading practices and design principles.
• Develop and configure Copilot Studio agents and integrate them with diverse channels to enable scalable, cross-functional automation solutions.
• Develop Model-Driven Power Apps to replace existing integrations and build automated processes using Power Automate flows to drive end-to-end workflow efficiency.
• Oversight of a dedicated development POD for solution design, development, and deployment, serving in a lead capacity for escalations, mentoring, and technical decision-making.
• Development and unit testing of integrations between various end points and ERP systems using automated solutions.
• Open to integrating different AI/LLM technologies via custom code, enabling intelligent, AI-driven enhancements to existing automation solutions.
• Involvement in full life cycle of projects (including requirement analysis and system design, development and support if required).
• Support and work collaboratively with teams across areas of design, development, quality assurance and operations.
• Participate in meetings, scrums, and workshops as needed for solutioning and overall team connections.
• Working with global and offshore teams to architect and build new Agents, PowerApps and Power Platform technologies.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, Canvas and Model-driven Apps, Power Automate Flows, Power BI, Dataverse, AI Builder, and related Power Platform services.
• 1–2 years of experience on designing, developing, and deploying Microsoft Copilot Studio agents, with a strong understanding of agent architecture, generative AI capabilities, knowledge sources RAG, and integration with all supported channels.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, including integration between Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and other Azure services for enterprise automation solutions.
• Experience with custom connectors and integrating third-party services with Power Platform.
• Understanding of Power Platform and Copilot governance, including environment strategy, DLP policies, security roles, capacity management, AI Builder and Copilot credit consumption, billing management, telemetry, and monitoring.
• Experience with Source Control (Git) and CI/CD implementation, including setting up and maintaining deployment pipelines
• Hands-on Python development experience, particularly for developing and maintaining Azure Function Apps and integrating them with Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with PowerShell and Office Scripts for administration, automation, and operational tasks is preferred.
• Agile experience is strongly preferred.

 

Additional Skills

• PL400 Microsoft Power Platform developer and Azure certification would be added advantage.
• Experience with Azure environment configuration, REST APIs, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Microsoft Entra ID).
• APIs and Database Design & Development.
• Experience on AWS.
• JIRA experience is a plus.
