Event Operations & Client Management
- Lead the planning and execution of security and crowd management operations for concerts, sporting events, festivals, graduations, and special events.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for venue management, event promoters, public safety agencies, and client representatives before, during, and after events.
- Attend production meetings, security briefings, tabletop exercises, and operational planning meetings as requested by clients.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service while identifying opportunities to continuously improve operations.
Develop event staffing plans based on attendance, venue layout, risk assessments, and client expectations.
- Build schedules in Celayix while ensuring all positions are filled with qualified personnel before established deadlines.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, train, coach, and develop supervisors and security personnel to build a high-performing event team.
- Evaluate employee performance, provide coaching and corrective action when necessary, and recognize outstanding performance.
- Ensure supervisors are prepared to lead their teams through effective communication and pre-event briefings.
- Develop site-specific post orders, deployment plans, and operational procedures for all assigned venues.
- Coordinate staffing for access control, bag screening, magnetometer operations, backstage security, credential checkpoints, parking operations, field/floor protection, and emergency response.
- Conduct venue walkthroughs prior to each event to verify staffing assignments, equipment readiness, and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor crowd conditions throughout events and make staffing or deployment adjustments to proactively address operational needs.
- Partner with venue management and public safety agencies to support emergency action plans, evacuation procedures, and incident response protocols.
- Promote a safe environment for guests, employees, performers, athletes, and venue personnel by identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Ensure all incidents are properly documented, investigated, and communicated through event evaluations and after-action reporting.
- Submit accurate payroll, billing, event reports, and operational documentation following each event.
- Maintain accountability for company equipment, uniforms, radios, screening equipment, and other operational assets.
- Forecast equipment and supply needs while coordinating purchases with Operations leadership.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies, enhancing guest flow, and implementing best practices across events.
- Serve as a visible, hands-on leader during events by supporting supervisors, assisting staff, and engaging with clients throughout event operations.
- Be prepared to assume Operations Manager responsibilities during periods of absence or increased operational demand.
- Carry out all responsibilities with professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to delivering safe, memorable experiences for every guest.
- Respond in a timely manner to all email and verbal communications.
- Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
- Support other departments or offsite locations as assigned by the Director of Operations
Responsible for the leadership and development of:
- Supervisors
- Dispatchers
- Security Officers
- Others as assigned

The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
- High School Diploma required, Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Two years of progressively responsible security experience including supervision (or equivalent experience) required; five years preferred.
- One year of supervisory experience at an S&E account.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security operations, workplace health and safety issues.
- Evidence of ability to work autonomously using sound judgment reflecting strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to obtain FEMA Certification in 100b, 200b, 700a, 800b, 901, and also IAVM Training Crowd Manager.
