We are looking for a Team Leader (m/f/d) to manage Pulp Drying Automation Group within Pulp & Paper Automation and Digitalization organization in Graz.

In this position you lead and develop the Pulp Drying Automation team in a global organization and are responsible for project execution, development of both internal processes and products, deliv-ered to customers and sales support. You also lead the department towards digitalized future in close cooperation with our other departments. 

 

Your Tasks

  • Lead and develop the automation engineering team in alignment with product group and Pulp & Paper Automation & Digitalization strategy, values, and vision
  • Manage team budgeting and resource allocation
  • Drive improvements in team functions, productivity, and competitiveness
  • Arrange engineering and site resources efficiently for projects
  • Collaborate closely with all Andritz entities and companies
  • Oversee AEI-related project execution activities
  • Participate in project reviews and organize engineering reviews within the department
  • Ensure competitive cost estimations for AEI engineering in sales projects
  • Support sales activities as applicable
  • Ensure AEI-related quality issues are resolved promptly

 

Your Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automation/electrification engineering or project engi-neering/management in the industrial sector
  • Degree in Automation, Electrification, or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of AEI (Automation, Electrification, Instrumentation) within the Pulp industry
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for guiding teams to meet deadlines
  • Proven track record in leading complex investment projects and HR capabilities (team lead-ership and people development)
  • Fluency in English and German (working language)
  • Preferably, in-depth knowledge of Pulp Drying systems

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 4.630,71 for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
