Job DetailsJob Location: LaVergne, TN - La Vergne, TN 37086Anchor Fabrication has immediate openings for highly motivated Powder Coater’s to join our Coating department.

Position Summary

The Powder Coater's role is to apply powder coating to products. They will perform targeted and detailed work using a spraying apparatus and wearing protective equipment to ensure products are coated correctly to meet specifications. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers’ needs are consistently met, promoting our company’s continued strong national growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Work under the direction of the department Lead or supervisor to assist with daily operations.
Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment.
Powder Coater needs to be able to hit the necessary mil range per powder or customer spec.
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the powder guns
Uses protective equipment when necessary, following all safety procedures.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of powder coating or qualifying experience preferred.
Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.

Environment/Physical Requirements with or without Accommodation:

This position is carried out in a fabrication shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
