Job DetailsJob Location: Anchor Fabrication Kansas - Wichita, KS 67213ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB TASKS:

Read and understand work orders, blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications, studying sample parts, determining dimensions and tolerances of the finished work pieces and determining the setup requirements by prioritizing steps and collecting material.
Measures, marks, and verifies dimensions on parts, and materials before and after processing parts. Utilize variety of precision measuring instruments to documented specifications.
Calculates measurements for the purpose of setting up machines, conducting part counts, completing time tickets, and checking quality of parts.
Assist in loading and unloading machines when production requires. Lifts raw materials/final products and stacks, bands, and palletizes items to be packed for shipment, manually, or using hoist.
Assists with assembly of parts and packaging for shipment.
Maintains equipment and ensures work area is always clean and safe.
Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by JRCMP and practice safeguards and appropriate safety precautions.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor to address unexpected situations or needs that may arise.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.
The ability and maturity to perform in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
The ability to operate hand tools.
Work in such a way as to create limited scrap or rework and work to continually improve quality level.
Keep work area clean.
Be able to provide all the proper tools and equipment as specified to fulfill basic job requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school education or the equivalent, required.
Basic math skills with ability to read tape measure.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

None required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and twisting, required.
Ability to comply with safety requirements of manufacturing environment (for example: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, etc.), required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Exposure to shop environment.

OTHER:

Working more than 40 hours per week may be required in order to complete company deliverables.
