Production Operator - 2nd & 3rd shift
About this role
Position Summary:
Responsible for inspecting, measuring, counting, trimming, cleaning and packing plastic molded parts as directed by Supervisor. This position adds value to the customer by ensuring production of defect-free products. Ensure customer order requirements are met.
SHIFT: 3pm-11:30pm | 11pm-7:30am (Monday - Friday with overtime and weekend work as needed)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand the Production Monitoring Systems and log in and out as required.
- Remove plastic parts from Injection Molding Machine.
- Perform any required secondary operations as instructed by the Shift Supervisor.
- Trim and pack plastic parts as directed.
- Guarantee that the label on each container is accurate.
- Inform Shift Supervisor or Molding Technician of any problems or defects.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner according to Corelle Brands safety manual and Safety Training Classes.
- Report any work injury to your supervisor immediately, no matter how small.
- Fill out the “Operator Inspection Results Form” every day as required
- Inspect and measure the parts every hour as needed or indicated in the “Operator Inspection Results Form”.
- Document your comments on parts inspected on the “Operator Inspection Results” Form every hour.
- Learn and understand the Corelle Brands Quality Policy.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma /GED
- 6 months of work experience as a production associate
- Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. If over 50 lbs., team lift is required.
3pm-11:30pm | 11pm-7:30am (Weekend work and overtime as needed)
