Forming Technician

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT Hand truck, tank cart, forklift, crawler tractor, bobcat, dust collectors, oil pumps, lubricators, and similar or equivalent machines and equipment required to complete the job. GAUGES AND TOOLS Miscellaneous large and small hand tools and equipment. PRODUCTS OR MATERIALS Forming machines, burn-off machines, glazers, stackers, conveyors, lehrs, machine tools, various press machines, oil, gravel direct, sand, salt, raw stock and similar or equivalent products and materials. WORK GUIDES AND INSTRUCTIONS General and detailed verbal instructions. QUALITY REQUIREMENTS Move and lubricate heavy production machinery and equipment in accordance with prescribed methods. Maintain overall quality awareness. WORK DESCRIPTION -Lubricate press machines and takeouts with grease and oil. -Grease table bearings on machines during job changes. -Service pressure pumps, oil and drive boxes. -Move machinery and equipment throughout the plant in accordance with maintenance and production requirements. -Perform various non-skilled maintenance labor tasks throughout the plant. -Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area. -Perform concrete work as required. -Do other work as required by supervision.
