Join our ASCS team as a Senior Claims Analyst in Chicago, IL. 

This is a full-time position. 

The Senior Claims Analyst is a vital member of our team, requiring:

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate claim exposures and calculate loss/expense reserves.
  • Monitor and direct third-party claims staff handling workers compensation and liability claims.
  • Analyze claims for determination of coverage.
  • Ensure that claims handling is conducted in compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and other legal requirements, and that all applicable company procedures and policies are followed.
  • Provide technical advice to third party claims staff positions and other functional areas.
  • Review and analyze program loss runs and claims data.
  • Conduct claim audits and prepare audit reports reviewing the claims handling, compliance, and effectiveness of our third-party claims partners.
  • Review insurance contracts (coverage, special clauses, retentions/SIRs/deductibles, terms, and conditions).
  • Communicate and collaborate with our ASCS division including actuarial, underwriting, finance and compliance. 
  • Communicate with brokers, agents, and insureds to provide support and resolve claim issues.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 10 years of workers' compensation claims adjusting or claims management experience with higher exposure claims is required. Additional liability claims adjusting or claims management experience is a plus.
  • Strong consideration will be given to candidates with industry designations including CPCU, Associate in Claims etc.
  • Must be a great communicator, in both written and verbal form, and be able to work with a variety of internal and external contacts.

Pursuant to Illinois regulation, the compensation range for this position is as stated and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.

$95,000$110,000 USD
