About this role

 

We are looking for a Data Privacy & Governance Expert to support the maintenance of day-to-day operation of our privacy governance framework across international markets. The role is focused on privacy compliance, governance processes, awareness activities, risk assessments, and collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure responsible data management practices across the organization. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines analytical thinking with organizational and communication skills and would like to further develop their expertise in data privacy and governance in an international environment. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain key privacy governance processes and documentation,
  • Participate in privacy risk assessments, incident follow-up activities, and vendor review processes,
  • Coordinate awareness and training initiatives promoting responsible data handling practices,
  • Monitor selected privacy and governance metrics and support reporting activities,
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and markets to ensure compliance with internal requirements and regulatory obligations,
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of privacy and governance practices.

Requirements for Candidate

  • Around 1-3 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, governance, risk management, audit, legal, or a related field,
  • University degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline,
  • Good understanding of GDPR and security principles,
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail,
  • Ability to work with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements,
  • Very good command of English,
  • High level of integrity and accountability.

 

Nice to have

  • Experience with OneTrust or similar governance/privacy management tools,
  • Experience supporting training or awareness initiatives,
  • German language skills,
  • Exposure to vendor assessments, audits, or risk assessment activities.
