About this role

Description:

The candidate is responsible for inventory, stocking and issuing parts and supplies and/or purchasing assigned or designated parts and services from an approved list of vendors. Work is reviewed periodically to assure compliance with the department's policies and procedures.

Schedule:

1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday


Essential Functions:

  • Receiving and distributing parts to mechanics, log parts into inventory system, parts pricing, parts numbers, due dates to reduce down time.
  • Maintain inventory on parts, monitor delivery receipts from vendors against the received parts
  • Bulk relieving parts from inventory. Control inventory, returning obsolete, overstock, wrong parts delivered
  • Generate work orders from work requests and ensure that the work orders are closed on a timely basis.
  • File all related cGMP documents in their assigned areas, i.e. work orders



Additional Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase order requisitions with negotiated quotes from vendors
  • Work with vendors for timely deliveries, back orders and rejected items
