Service Engineer (Japan)
About this role
Position Summary:
Required to provide the highest level of response and service supports to customers of Taylor Hobson Japan
Key Responsibilities:
- Install TH instruments, accessories and software.
- Conduct IMS testing and customer-requested buy-off testing
- Provide operator training to customers for order closure.
- Provide solutions within customers’ accepted downtime.
- Play front-line sales role to lead AMEcare orders.
- Provide solutions to customers’ operating problems which may require applications knowledge on the instrument.
- Proactively learn newly developed software as well as instruments to promote those to customers.
Requirements for Consideration:
- Educated mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge in an institute or college.
- Experience as R&D engineer, service engineer, production engineer or sales engineer in former jobs
- PC skills
- Business communication skills
- Reading & writing English skills
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
Experience/Qualifications:
- B to B experience in former jobs.
- Verbal English skill
