Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage documentation, monitoring, and evaluation of customer files, ensuring adherence to compliance guidelines, completeness, and accuracy.

  • Establish credit limits and payment terms for new customers following company policies.

  • Identify, prepare, and coordinate department meetings, training sessions, and development activities.

  • Manage all associate relations functions for the customer setup team, including hiring, performance management, and terminations.

  • Monitor staff performance to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and approved account setup processes.

  • Recommend process and procedural improvements to the Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining customer setup and maintenance policies, procedures, and training materials.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, company standards, and industry regulations.

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of new customer account data.

  • Manage and train account setup staff on regulatory compliance, scheduling, and timely processing of documentation (e.g., business applications, licenses, financial statements).

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Knowledge of financial management, accounts receivable principles, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), business law, and healthcare industry regulations.

  • Ability to interpret financial statements accurately.

  • Proven success implementing processes that result in effective audit outcomes.

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and creatively.

  • Familiarity with AmerisourceBergen (ABC/ABSG) products and services.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
