Formed in 1980, ARS grew by bringing together trusted local and regional service companies and later joined with Rescue Rooter, a plumbing brand founded in 1975, under shared ownership by ServiceMaster in the late 1990s. Today, ARS/Rescue Rooter is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, with locations across 24 states and Washington, DC, delivering essential services to homes and businesses nationwide.
ARS/Rescue Rooter is known for its focus on reliable service, skilled professionals, and consistent standards across its network. Specialists and comfort advisors receive ongoing training and background screening, and all work is supported by the company’s Exceptional Service Guarantee, which reflects a commitment to addressing customer concerns and maintaining high service standards.
