The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the location, including revenue growth, profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee development. This position will lead the team with a strong customer-first mindset while creating a high-performance culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide full operational and financial leadership for the location, including responsibility for revenue, profitability, budgeting, and overall business performance.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed sales, service, operational, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Lead, coach, and hold department leaders accountable for achieving performance expectations.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use business data to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and improve results.
- Create a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, employee engagement, and exceptional customer service.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, safety standards, and operating practices are consistently followed.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development.
- Review business forecasts, budgets, staffing levels, and financial reports to ensure the location is positioned for continued growth.
- Maintain visibility throughout the operation and promptly address employee, customer, and business concerns.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, service delivery, and overall profitability.
- Partner with regional and corporate leadership to implement company initiatives and share best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred; equivalent leadership experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive leadership experience with responsibility for business operations and team performance.
- Demonstrated experience managing profit and loss, budgets, revenue growth, and operational performance.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability goals.
- Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze performance data and translate findings into action.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple departments, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business performance reporting tools.
- Residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or home-services experience is strongly preferred.
