Position Summary
The Onboard Audio Technician is in charge operating the sound for performances. They start-up and monitor pre-show music, actor microphones, and all aspects of the onboard sound for the performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate soundboard and cues for entire performance, including before, during, and after each performance.
Assists with pre-show sound checks
Ensures actors are correctly mic’d and runs mic check with actors
Qualifications
Technical Theatre experience preferred but not required
QLab experience preferred but not required
Must be able to travel between moving train cars
Will be Required to work in inclement winter weather, as needed
Will be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays
