- Warmly acknowledge, greet, and thank all members and guests.
- Manage administrative tasks including drafting, revising, and distributing event agreements and banquet event orders (BEOs), as well as processing deposits and payments.
- Support marketing and sales efforts by maintaining the contact database, responding to leads, scheduling site tours, and assisting with outreach.
- Coordinate event logistics by communicating with internal departments to ensure course and facility readiness.
- Maintain high customer service standards during events by monitoring food and beverage operations and offering assistance when needed.
- Build strong relationships with event hosts by addressing questions, resolving concerns, attending events, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Escalate any grievances to the Director of Event Sales or Event Manager as appropriate.
- Support all American Golf initiatives and programs as directed by management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Previous administrative and/or sales experience preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic math skills for calculating figures and percentages.
- Social media literacy, including familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Effective communication skills with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
- Schedule varies based on business needs.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.
- Role may involve extended periods of standing and physical activity including walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and lifting or pulling items as needed.
