Assistant F&B Director

Responsibilities
- Assist F&B Director to ensure product quality and service standards are met in various food and beverage outlets - convenience carts, snack bar, bar/lounge areas, restaurant(s), catering, and banquet facilities
- Take responsibility for Food & Beverage (F&B) department in the absence of F&B Director
- Review and control weekly payroll and overtime sheets and monitor according to budget
- Support the hiring, training, staffing, and scheduling of food and beverage team members
- Conduct routine staff meetings to discuss procedures, issues, policy changes, and department specific items
- Assist in cost control of all food and beverage outlets by managing inventory, supplies and equipment
- Maintain effective inventory and shortage controls
- Generate monthly inventory, cost of sales, and other reports requested by management
- Identify and target sales opportunities through marketing, promotions, and special events initiatives for food and beverage outlets
- Adhere to safety, sanitation, food preparation, food storage and alcohol beverage control policies
- Specialty/Technical Training required (2-year college degree preferred)
- Minimum of 6 years of management experience in golf, hospitality, or service industry required
- Serve Safe certification required within 90 days of employment
- Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages, applicable state card or certificate must be provided if required by state law
- Experience in resolving customer issues/complaints as well as overall excellent customer service required
- Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proven ability to effectively build and foster a team environment

Schedule varies based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The role requires regular movement throughout the venue, including time spent on the floor, in service areas, and during events.

Periods of standing and walking may be required, especially during service or event oversight.

Occasional physical tasks may involve reaching, lifting, or carrying items up to 50 pounds, assisting during high-volume service, or supporting team needs.

Vision requirements may include close, distance, peripheral, and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
