1st Shift Machine Operator

We are looking for eager to learn individuals to join our 1st shift team. We will provide the training needed to start your career. Our 1st shift runs from 7:00am- 3:30pm.

We are a unique welding job shop that specializes in friction welding or inertia welding. We are one of only a handful of North American companies that provides friction welding services. Our equipment includes over 14 friction welding machines, ranging from 4-ton to 250-tons. Our diverse customer base is comprised of companies from the construction, agricultural, pump, and automotive industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machine tools
• Check produced part for conformance to specifications
• Ability to follow written and/or verbal job-related instructions
• Ability to do repetitive machining work
• May run multiple machines simultaneously in a production cell
• Basic math skills.
• Must show capability to come to work every day per company expectations.
• Report non-conforming material immediately to your Area Lead. If the Area Lead is not available, report it to the Quality Team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualified applicants will:

• Be able to read a tape measure
• Have the willingness to learn how to use various inspection equipment
• Be able to covert fractions of an inch into decimals of an inch
• Have good basic math skills
• Be able to lift up to 30lbs on a regular basis.
• Understand the importance of a good attendance record.
