ESSTENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leads and develops a team of fundraising professionals, ensuring strong performance, accountability, collaboration, and talent development. 20%
Builds and sustains strategic relationships with major donors, corporate partners, volunteer leaders, and community stakeholders to drive revenue growth and long-term engagement. 25%
Drives market fundraising strategy and execution across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and achievement of revenue goals. 20%
Leads volunteer leadership engagement efforts, including recruitment, stewardship, succession planning, and activation of key community influencers. 15%
Collaborates across functions and markets to align strategies, maximize donor pipeline opportunities, and support broader organizational success. 10%
Monitors portfolio performance, financial results, and key metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize growth and return on investment. 10%
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree
Years of experience: Five+ years related multi-million dollar fundraising responsibilities, people management experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proven success leading fundraising teams while personally driving external relationship development and revenue growth.
Advanced relationship management skills with major donors, corporate partners, and volunteer leaders.
Demonstrated ability to represent an organization effectively within the community and build strategic partnerships.
Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
Experience developing and executing market-based fundraising strategies.
Ability to influence across teams, stakeholders, and community networks.
Strong financial and performance management skills.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on external engagement.
Ability to think broadly, collaborate effectively, and advance organizational priorities beyond individual market goals.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Limited overnight travel to meetings and events
Expectation to be external in market, 3 days per week average
After hours and weekend work

The starting rate is $90,000 to $107,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
