About this role

Purpose:

Responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of Training and Development Programs across the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, publishing, and implementing training-related policies, procedures, and instructions
  • Works closely with other Departmental Managers and Supervisors to develop, publish, and maintain master training plans, records and files.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendations on training material and methodology to increase skill set of existing workforce.
  • Provides feedback and status to Program Participants and Management.
  • Maintain employee training records and databases.
  • Coordinates the logistics for training activities including venues and equipment.
  • Provides administrative support for the Training and Development Program for both on-site and off-site trainers
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree or higher education is preferred, but not required

Experience:

  • 3-4 years instruction and training experience is preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience creating, developing and organizing training programs, is preferred
  • Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for of experience example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to two (2) years of college and vice versa

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles; instructional design; training methodologies and competency assessment skills, is required

  • Must have excellent presentation and speech skills

  • Must have excellent facilitation skills

  • Must have good coaching skills

  • Must possess effective writing and communication skills

  • Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other related applications

  • Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and documents

  • Requires a collaborative work style that fosters cooperation and teamwork

Certification, License & Clearance:

  • None required

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:

  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions

Other Responsibilities:

Compensation Details:

65,000 - 71,000 Euro
