THE ROLE:

  • This position is responsible for product yield and wafer process improvement and requires strong wafer process knowledge, experience, and communication skills.
  • Serve as the technical interface with Foundry/Design/Test Engineering teams to manage product yield commitments and engineering activities during the product development stage, including design validation, performance characterization, qualification, and release to production.

 

THE PERSON:

  • Thorough understanding of device physics and semiconductor processing for advanced technology nodes.
  • Experienced in statistical analysis, yield management, and yield improvement.
  • Capable of setting priorities and moving several tasks forward simultaneously.
  • Effective individual contributor who integrates well as a team player.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work very closely with the foundry and product/test teams to manage and improve product yield and to support engineering activities during the product development stage, including design validation, performance characterization, qualification, and release to production.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and maintain committed schedules across multiple projects while collaborating with other engineering functions and different levels of management.
  • Work with Foundry, Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Failure Analysis teams to disposition product excursions and manage cases through a material review board.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Good experiences in Process Integration and Product Engineering.
  • Strong background in wafer process management, statistical analysis, and yield improvement.
  • Fluent English is required; strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Preferred degree: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • TOEIC score: 700+.
