THE ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Test Engineer who will lead initiatives of significant strategic and commercial importance, drives innovation across organizational boundaries, mentors engineering talent, and establishes technical leadership in advanced test methodologies and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the technical authority for complex test engineering challenges across multiple products and development programs.
  • Define and drive long-term test architecture, methodologies, and strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional work spanning Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Diagnostics, and Manufacturing.
  • Influence technical decisions that impact multiple product families and future technology roadmaps.

Test Development & Innovation

  • Architect and develop advanced ATE test programs, test methods, and automation solutions.
  • Drive improvements in test coverage, quality, efficiency, test time reduction, and cost optimization.
  • Develop innovative debugging methodologies and root cause analysis techniques for first-silicon bring-up and production readiness.
  • Lead deployment of next-generation test platforms and infrastructure.

Strategic Impact

  • Own projects and initiatives with significant business, manufacturing, and customer impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to align test strategies with product objectives.
  • Identify technical risks and implement mitigation plans to support successful product execution.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.

Mentorship & Organizational Influence

  • Mentor staff and junior engineers.
  • Establish technical best practices and drive engineering excellence.
  • Lead technical reviews and provide guidance across organizations.
  • Influence technical direction beyond direct reporting relationships.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Deep expertise in semiconductor test development, ATE systems, and product bring-up.
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies, characterization, yield improvement, and debug techniques.
  • Proven record of leading technically complex projects with broad organizational impact.
  • Strong software development skills such as C/C++, Python, Java, or similar, and automation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and drive innovation.
  • Expertise with Advantest T2000, V93K, or equivalent ATE platforms.
  • Experience developing scalable test infrastructure and automation solutions.
  • Patent, publication, or significant innovation contributions.
  • Experience leading cross-site and external partner collaborations.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with significant experience, or equivalent advanced degree and experience.
