Career Levels
We are hiring at multiple experience levels. Compensation, responsibilities, and autonomy will be aligned with experience and qualifications:
- Apprentice Technician: 0-2 years of electrical, mechanical, military, or technical field service experience.
- Journeyman Technician: 2-5 years of experience servicing electrical, UPS, battery, generator, or related power systems.
- Senior/Lead Technician: 5+ years of critical power experience with demonstrated troubleshooting, commissioning, and project leadership capabilities.
Position Summary
Integ is seeking Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and commission critical power systems supporting data centers, healthcare facilities, telecommunications networks, industrial operations, and other mission-critical applications.

- UPS Systems
- Battery Systems (VRLA, Flooded, NiCad, Lithium-Ion)
- Battery Monitoring Systems
- Static Transfer Switches (STS)
- Power Distribution Units (PDU) and Remote Power Panels (RPP)
- DC Power Systems and Rectifiers
- Switchgear, Generators, and ATS Interfaces
Technicians work on equipment from leading manufacturers including Vertiv/Liebert, Eaton, Schneider Electric/APC, ABB, Mitsubishi, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, repairs, and commissioning of critical power systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment issues.
- Conduct battery testing, load bank testing, and startup activities.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
- Communicate findings and recommendations with customers.
- Respond to emergency service calls and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects.
- Mentor less experienced technicians and lead projects as experience and qualifications increase.
- Follow all company and customer safety requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Relevant technical training, military experience, trade school education, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience level consistent with Apprentice (0-2 years), Journeyman (2-5 years), or Senior/Lead (5+ years) technician classifications.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting principles.
- Ability to read technical documentation and use electrical test equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and customer site-access requirements.
- Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred
- UPS, battery, generator, industrial electrical, or mission-critical power experience.
- OEM certifications (Vertiv, Eaton, Schneider/APC, ABB, Mitsubishi).
- Journeyman Electrician license or related trade certification.
- OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, or other industry certifications.
- Experience working in data centers, healthcare, telecommunications, or industrial facilities.
Travel & Physical Requirements
- Regional travel with occasional overnight travel; national travel may be required for projects.
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation after training.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in electrical and mechanical environments.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including arc-flash-rated clothing and safety equipment.
Safety
Safety is non-negotiable. All technicians must comply with OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E standards, lockout/tagout procedures, arc-flash requirements, and customer-specific safety policies.

Estimated Salary: $28 - $60 hourly with flexibility based on experience and skills.
