About this role

Position Summary

The Sales Analyst – Replenishment supports the Home Depot Plants program by ensuring strong in-stock performance, maximizing sales, and maintaining healthy inventory turns for both Altman Plants and Home Depot. This role partners closely with the Key Account Manager and internal operational teams to analyze data, write orders, and execute replenishment strategies based on historical trends, current performance, and forecasted demand. Home Depot’s Plants categories include annuals/perennials, cactus & succulents, and some indoor foliage plants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute replenishment strategies using historical and current sales, inventory, weather, and availability trends to maximize sales, inventory turns and sell‑through.

  • Write, upload, adjust, and manage store‑level orders based on projections, forecasts, and customer expectations.

  • Analyze store‑level inventory and sales data to increase or decrease inventory levels as needed.

  • Utilize Altman Plants systems and tools, including Evolution, Power BI, and Auto Spread, to manage orders and analyze sales, shipment, and production data.

  • Build, maintain, and interpret Excel‑based tools and reports (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas) to support replenishment and business decisions.

  • Support promotional and advertising efforts by placing and allocating promotional orders to ensure in‑stock availability across all stores.

  • Manage and adjust replenishment models, system parameters, and centralized ordering strategies throughout the season to optimize inventory effectiveness and minimize risk.

  • Partner with the Key Account Manager and field sales teams by providing data analysis, reports, and insights for internal and customer meetings.

  • Participate in Teams meeting with operations, as well as regular meetings with the Home Depot replenishment and management teams.

  • Create PBS orders to drive incremental sales while maintaining sell‑through rates that meet OGSM.

  • Collaborate with supply, demand, transportation, production, and distribution teams to improve efficiencies and prevent in‑stock disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage, analyze, and summarize large amounts of data.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and make data-driven business decisions and recommendations.
  • Quick learner and self-starter.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and interact professionally with others.
  • Availability to work weekends as business needs require.
  • Knowledge of plants or horticulture is helpful but not required.
