PURPOSE OF POSITION: To perform routine and preventative maintenance, trouble-shoot and repairs within Deer Valley Resort properties and common areas.

RESPONSIBIILITIES:

  • Will work with various chemicals including pool chemicals, concrete sealers and painting products
  • Includes working on ladders and scaffolding, use of power tools and equipment, as well as operating company vehicles in a variety of weather conditions
  • Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal and ground care
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and various texturing
    • Electrical: HVAC - Understands electrical systems and HVAC systems. Troubleshooting, service, and repair of pumps, condensers, motors, lighting and 3 phase electrical panels and circuits
    • Plumbing: Install faucets, seats, drain seals. Remove/install toilets, auto flushers. Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, lack of water and effect repairs
    • Carpentry: Understand woodworking and carpentry. Work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs and doors
    • Drywall repair and painting interiors and exteriors when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license
  • CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals
  • Must work well with others and function as a team member
  • Willing to learn new skills and perform tasks in a timely and safe manner
  • Must have at least mid-level maintenance skills
  • Must be service oriented and self-motivated
  • Computer skills highly desirable
  • Be willing to perform other duties as assigned
  • Work schedules may include night shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Basic hand tools required, specialty tools provided
  • Must be flexible to work in various Deer Valley Resort property locations and will work various shifts
  • Must be able to perform heavy lifting, strenuous work, such as snow removal
  • Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
