This Project Leader is responsible for the implementation of new projects in the Claims Distribution and Repricing Department. The project leader will coordinate and ensure delivery of project deliverables on time. The Project Leader must be knowledgeable of systems and programs. The Project Lead will gather information on processes used by Claims Distribution and Repricing department to find ways to improve or enhance internal processes and workflows. The Project Leader will communicate recommendations to Claim Distribution and Repricing Management for Workflow and SOP improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead department related projects: Including project initiation, project timelines, meetings, and on-going communications with internal and external stakeholders
Work with department Leadership to understand current operations and procedures. Provide suggestions to optimize systems, procedures, and processes
Acts as a primary point of contact for department project implementation and communicates project-related updates internally and externally
Provide guidance to optimize systems, procedures, and processes

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Previous experience managing large amounts of data with an understanding on how to process that data
Strong analytical skills to help improve Workflows and SOPs
Experience Smartsheet, SharePoint and Excel required
Advanced computer skills and knowledge of databases and software systems
Ability to collect and analyze complex data.
Strong spreadsheet skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
