We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) to join us at one of our modern and innovative locations in Munich or Stuttgart.
Our global Portfolio and Investor/Client team is based across offices in Germany, France, Switzerland, the USA and Singapore. Collaboration on a wide range of global projects provides a varied day-to-day role in an international working environment.
We offer you insight into all areas of portfolio management across the entire real estate investment lifecycle, as well as the related requirements of managing client relationships and implementing portfolio objectives. The team is involved in investment decisions ranging from transaction assessments and ongoing analysis to the strategic positioning of our existing portfolio and potential divestment processes. The portfolio we manage includes investments in Germany, Austria, the UK, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, providing exciting insights into a range of dynamic real estate markets.
In addition, our team is responsible for the following areas of portfolio management: assessment of potential developments, acquisitions and disposals; strategic development and optimization of the existing portfolio (Asset Strategy & Business Plan Review); management; Investor/Client Reporting; and performance analyses. We value active and open communication and work closely with clients and investors as well as all internal PPRE departments, including Asset Management, Transactions and Finance.
What you will do:
- Supporting team members across their respective areas, gaining detailed insights into a variety of responsibilities and, following successful onboarding, taking ownership of selected tasks, including independent analyses
- Gaining insight into operational real estate decisions and the active management of one of Europe’s largest institutional real estate portfolios
- Supporting portfolio analyses and gaining related insights, including in interdisciplinary and/or international projects
- Contributing to presentations and decision-making materials for internal and external stakeholders in a national and international environment, including the data-driven preparation of portfolio and performance information
- Contributing to projects and workstreams aimed at further developing digital workflows and analytical processes, for example through business intelligence, automation and AI solutions
What you bring:
- Currently studying economics, business administration or a related field, ideally with a focus on real estate and preferably having completed a bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including structured data preparation and the creation of professional presentations
- Initial practical experience with, or a strong interest in, modern digital solutions, particularly business intelligence tools such as Power BI, the automation or programming of Office applications, and the responsible use of AI-enabled tools
- Initiative, a quick grasp of new concepts, and a structured and responsible approach to work Initial experience with real estate investment cash flow models is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
