About the Job

You will join the Commercial Pricing Landscape program, building a central, high‑performance service facade that unifies complex insurance policy calculations behind a common API for consuming customer applications. The platform converts large volumes of data, exposes convenient APIs, orchestrates distributed tasks, versions parameters, and runs lightning‑fast calculators at scale. As an AI-experienced Full Stack Developer, you will implement event‑driven microservices, secure APIs, and modern front ends, while applying engineering best practices and AI coding tools to accelerate delivery, quality, and maintainability.

Project Tech Stack

• Backend: Java 25, Kotlin 2.3, Spring Boot 4, Spring Security, PostgreSQL, Spring Data JDBC, Flyway, Kafka, RESTful API, Maven, MS Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
• Frontend: Angular 17, NGRx, Node.js, Fastify

Note: You’re not expected to know every technology; solid hands‑on experience with several and the aptitude to learn the rest is what matters.

What you do

• Implement large, complex applications using RESTful and Kafka‑based event‑driven microservices with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and JUnit.
• Design and secure APIs; orchestrate distributed tasks and parameter versioning for high‑throughput calculations.
• Build front‑end features with Angular 17/NGRx and contribute to BFF/Node.js/Fastify services as needed.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability; automate testing and CI/CD workflows.
• Optimize PostgreSQL data access and performance; apply data structures/algorithms for efficient processing.
• Collaborate in Agile, cross‑functional teams (BAs, POs, QAs, FEs, UX) and participate in technical design reviews.
• Containerize and operate services on Azure with Docker/Kubernetes; contribute to observability and runbooks.
• Actively use AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Communicate clearly across levels and backgrounds; identify obstacles, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong backend expertise with Java/Kotlin and Spring (Boot, Data), building event‑driven microservices with Kafka; solid API design and security (Spring Security).
• Advanced SQL/PostgreSQL skills (schema design, query optimization) and practical performance tuning for production systems.
• Cloud‑native delivery on Azure with containers/Kubernetes; CI/CD and build tooling (Maven) for reliable release automation.
• Full stack capability: modern Angular (v17) with NGRx, and experience with Node.js/Fastify or BFF patterns.
• Solid engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, automated testing (JUnit), and Agile/SAFe ways of working.
• Required: hands‑on use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) with concrete examples of impact on your CV.
